Zonta Club of Houston

The Zonta Club of Houston is holding a Fiesta and Clothing Drive tomorrow, Oct. 15, at the Cadillac Bar, 1802 Shepherd, from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $25 per person and includes a buffet dinner.

Attendees are asked to bring along gently used clothes and accessories to donate to Houston area women in need of these items.

The Zonta Club of Houston is one of the country's oldest women's service organizations. Members work hard all year to advance the status of women worldwide, including donating funds and "woman hours" to Bay Area Turning Point, Casa de Esperanza, Ten Thousand Villages, Houston Rescue and Restore Coalition (fighting human trafficking) and The Women's Home. Additionally, Zonta awards scholarships annually for Young Woman in Public Affairs and the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business scholarship.
