We just learned Kelsea Faith Russo, daughter of Cindy and Tom Russo of Katy and senior at Seven Lakes High School, is the new National American Miss Texas Teen. (Congrats, Kelsea!)

Kelsea will be attending the national pageant in Anaheim, California at Disneyland during Thanksgiving week, vying for her share of over $500,000 in cash and prizes.

The National American Miss Pageant program, based on inner beauty, poise and presentation, emphasizes the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills and good attitudes about competition and setting and achieving personal goals.
