Adopt-a-thon for pets

The Annual “Home for the Holidays” Share the Love Adopt-a-thon, sponsored by Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) and West Houston Subaru, will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10 and 11. The event will be held at the new CAP Shelter, 17555 Katy Freeway, from 1 to 6 p.m.

The celebration will highlight many adorable animal companions ready for adoption. Photos with your pet and Santa will be taken for a $10 donation.

Additionally, CAP’s Happy Tails Pet Supply & Gift Shop is stocked with holiday gifts for people and their pets including personalized stockings for dogs and cats. CAP’s Thrift Store will also have Holiday items and a huge sidewalk sale.
