I-45 closed at US 59

Houston TranStar officials announce the total closure of IH-45 at US 59 downtown because of an incident in the area. Travelers are urged to avoid IH-45 by using IH-610 around the area or otherwise altering their plans.

The Houston TranStar consortium is a partnership of four government agencies that are responsible for providing Transportation Management and Emergency Management services to the Greater Houston Region.
