Final Four Revisited

With Houston chosen to be the site of the NCAA's Final Four basketball championship this spring, Rice University's Department of Kinesiology's Sport Management Program will offer the public an opportunity to hear from three former stars who participated in the event in the past.

"Final Four Revisited," a panel discussion featuring Elvin Hayes, Don Chaney and David Lattin, will be held January 26 at 4:30 p.m. in Room 100, Keck Hall, on the Rice University campus, 6100 Main St. For directions, go to http://www.rice.edu/maps/maps.html.

The event is free, but seating is limited.

Before going to the NBA, Hayes and Chaney were teammates at the University of Houston and played in two Final Four tournaments. Lattin, who was born in Houston, played for Texas Western University (now the University of Texas at El Paso) when it won the NCAA championship in 1966.
