Autumn Follies returns to MST

The ever-popular Autumn Follies returns to Main Street Theater on Friday, Oct. 8. The one-night only one-night-only benefit performance will be the original musical send-up Fiddler on the Loop, with cameo appearances by celebrities, including Houston Mayor Annise Parker, KHOU's Len Cannon, Judge Jan Krocker, PBS' Ernie Manouse and Doug Mueller, Sarah Gish and Houston Chronicle blogger and theater critic Buzz Bellmont.

The one-hour performance will highlight an evening which also features live and silent auctions, heavy hors d’oeuvres reception catered by the Chelsea Grill, wine and champagne. The event will be staged at MST’s facility at Chelsea Market and at the Chelsea Grill and will benefit MST’s education and outreach programs.

Since 1975, Main Street Theater has produced high quality professional theater for audiences of all ages through its MainStage productions and Main Street Youth Theater. The Main Street Theater Kids On Stage program offers performing arts classes and camps for children 5 years to 14 years of age. The organization produces plays at two locations, 2540 Times Boulevard in Rice Village and 4617 Montrose Boulevard at Chelsea Market.
