Governor Rick Perry and First Lady Anita Perry will host the 11th Annual Texas Conference for Women on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. The big event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Keynote speakers include Leigh Anne Tuohy, the inspiration behind the best-selling book and blockbuster movie, "The Blind Side;" Glenda Hatchett, host of "Judge Hatchett" and founder of Parent Power Now; and Dr. Jennifer Arnold, medical director of Texas Children's Hospital's Pediatric Simulation Center and star of TLC's television show, "The Little Couple." Dozens of other speakers will share business and personal finance expertise.

The conference will also feature a career fair offering free resume critiques and mentoring sessions.
