Inprint, celebrating its 30th year of bringing great writers to Texas, has announced the line-up for its 2010-2011 Margaret Root Brown Reading Series.

The readings are held at various locations, but all begin at 7:30 p.m. and are followed by an onstage interview, book sales and signing.

Best-selling author Amy Tan will appear Monday, Sept. 20 at the Cullen Theater at the Wortham Center to begin the series.

Others to follow, in months October through April, include Carlos Fuentes, Salman Rushdie, Peter Carey, Major Jackson and Alicia Ostrker, Chitra Divakaruni and Gish Jen and Kay Ryan.
